Hi,
Is it possible James Ryan Sims and wife Annie are both buried in Lost Prong Cemetery, Louise, Wharton co. Tx.

According to info on the LDS site they are and Bettie Newman is also buried there.

Don’t know if the info is correct as they have James married to Eliza Coward before 1888, Annie Dierlam before 1890 and Bettie Newman 12 Aug 1903.

The LDS site and Ancestry.com both have information about this family.
Today I talked to a woman who married a Dierlam. She told me there is a relative who has been researching for many years and has lots of information. She is going to find out if she will share.

Update from ND

Well it is official – I am now a North Dakota resident.  I finally went and got my drivers license changed over from a Minnesota one.  Since I am not a college student anymore, I probably should have done it a few months ago – but oh well.  A nice difference was that they print them right there, so it only took a few minutes.  MN you have to wait since they mail them out.  So they took my MN and handed me my shiny new ND driver’s license.  (Apparently there is a new design this year as well.)

A note for friends and relatives, Jennie and I are working on compiling the guest list for the wedding.  (We are hoping to have the invitations printed soon.)  So feel free to email me your current address so we can make sure you are all invited!   The planning process is going well.  I am happy with the progress I have made so far this week on my jobs.  I talked to Pastor Dave (The Pastor at the local Presbyterian Church here in Jamestown) about meeting for Marriage Counseling sessions, Tux shopping is scheduled and everyone notified at least once, and I have the parents are hopefully going through the address books for names and addresses of people who need to get invitations.  This weekend I think we are finishing up writing the invitations and announcement stuff.  (The drafts got written last weekend.)

For those who don’t know, my Great Uncle Wayne will be officiating the ceremony itself.  We are pretty excited about that.  Not only will we all get to see Uncle Wayne and his family, but it makes the ceremony even that much more special.  (If you want to learn about the exact relation, check out other parts of this site to view our family tree!)

It is close…4.5 months!  (September 23rd, 2006)
