A resolution of the city of Tukwila planning commission recognizing the 11 years that Leo Sowinski served on the planning commission and authorizing a donation to the Fire Department Medic One fund in his memory.
Whereas, Leo Sowinski served faithfully for 11 years on the City of Tukwila Planning Commission and consistently contributed to the quality of decisions and plans adopted by the commission, and
Whereas, Leo Sowinski continually upheld and advanced the long term interests of the citizens of the City of Tukwila in his participation on the Planning Commission, and
Whereas, Leo Sowinski exhibited exemplary citizenship and dedication to service in the community, and
Whereas, Leo Sowinski was held in highest esteem by members of the Planning Commission, Mayor, City Council, City Staff and Citizens of the City of Tukwila, and
Whereas, special recognition and an expression of gratitude for Leo Sowinski's service to the City of Tukwila is appropriate.
Now, therefore, the City of Tukwila Planning Commission hereby resolves as follows:
That $100 will be donated from the Planning Department Budget to the Tukwila Fire Department Medic One fund in memory of Leo Sowinski.
Passed by the City of Tukwila Planning Commission at a regular meeting this 24 day of March, 1988.
